Bio
Shane B. McMahon represents the fourth generation of the McMahon family to be involved in the wrestling entertainment industry. He has had the unique opportunity to experience all levels of the business, starting when he was just five years old carrying the attire of WWE Superstars from the ring to the locker room area. Shane held many different responsibilities throughout his teenage years including stocking the company’s warehouse and then eventually becoming a member of the ring crew, a referee and a ring announcer.

Following Shane’s graduation from Boston University in 1993, he worked in WWE’s television production, sales, marketing, and international business development divisions, before he helped form the company’s digital media department in 1998. Shane and his team launched WWE.com in 1998, a site that has more than 20 million unique visitors worldwide per month. Since July 2003, Shane has served as Executive Vice President of WWE Global Media, overseeing international TV distribution, live event bookings, digital media, consumer products and publishing.

The beginnings of WWE as we know it today began when Shane’s parents Vince and Linda McMahon purchased the Capitol Wrestling Corporation from Vince’s father in 1982. Just as Vince brought WWE from a regional operation to a national enterprise recognized around the world, Shane has recently purchased his own Wrestling operation known for its powerhouse style back in the late 70's & early 80's. The American Wrestling Association has re-surfaced thanks to Shane and is once again looking to make a name for itself as one of the biggest wrestling organizations in the world!
